Clelio de Paula é artista visual, designer de experiências e consultor de tecnologias emergentes há 10 anos.
Estudou Eng Eletrônica e de Computação pela UFRJ e Artes Visuais pela EAV Parque Lage. Suas principais pesquisas versam entre memória, herança cultural e como os meios de produção e consumo virtuais e holográficos impactam o cotidiano.
Foi pioneiro do registro holográfico em povos originários brasileiros. Finalista do prêmio internacional Lumen Prize na categoria de VR.
Exibiu seus trabalhos usando Realidade Aumentada, Mista e Virtual na Europa e Brasil:Tate Modern, Horniman Museum & Gardens em Londres, Museu do Amanhã, Casa França Brasil, Festival Multiplicidade e Sonar+D.
Colaborou também com artistas como Gilberto Gil, Gringo Cardia, Batman Zavareze, Heloísa Buarque de Hollanda e Takuma Kuikuro.
De 2012 a 2019 liderou a WeSense, estúdio que mescla tecnologia e arte realizando projetos para ativações, pesquisas e inovação para grandes marcas.
Desde 2020 atua como profissional independente.
